I love how our lives are woven together.

Seasons Greetings !

I hope you all are enjoying your holiday season.
I love this time of year. The week between the craziness of preparations and the celebration of a new year.
A great time for a long break to relax.

We celebrate Yule and Christmas in our house. Over the years our traditions have developed to a wonderful blend of old and new. The star of the show this year was the Eclipse of the moon on the Solstice. I am happy to have been able to see it as a few of my friends just to the west said it was too cloudy for them to see.

I had a houseful of friends on the Solstice. We spent Christmas Eve at my Sister-in Laws house, Christmas Breakfast here at our house and a Boxing Day Supper here on Sunday, the day after Christmas. I strategically rid our house of all holiday leftovers and cleaned the fridge on Tuesday ! Yay!

I'd like to share  a few photos of three of my holiday trees this year.

I am pondering my "word" for 2011. If you need to know what I am talking about read Ali's Blog. Here's a direct link to her word for 2011.... Ali's word

I am so thankful for my blog friends and I do apologize for not updating for so long. Life here at  RuffHaven can become very hectic sometimes and I find it hard to be consistent here. I tend to fill my days with so many projects with little time for photos and posting.  I will certainly try to work on this in 2011.
