I love how our lives are woven together.

tucker finds mommy's yarn

This is what happens when you leave your yarn within
reach of a puppy brained mischievous canine

I have a problem maybe you can help me out.

When I first started blogging I was so enchanted by it that I started five blogs .
Two quickly became ghost towns and the cobwebs are so thick
I won't be going there anytime soon
but
Three of my blogs are very healthy.
I get repeat readers and I have followers and subscribers
Some friends follow all three and some only read one.
I am so pleased that people actually read my blogs.

So what's the problem?

well

Lately I was wondering if I should combine all three blogs into one.
Will the Quilters want to read about my Christmas cards?
Will the Zentanglers want to read about my knitting?
What to do what to do

So I am asking you
What do you think?

Leave it as it is?

Combine into one big whatever goes blog?

I rarely beg for comments, but this time I really really need to know what you think.
Thanks

PS   in case you have no idea what I am talking about....here are the links to my other blogs

Do ya really want opinions? I say combine them all. My blog is titled Quilting Dreams, but it's really become my scrapbook of all things. I started a second blog, which I didn't intend to be public, but Surprise! it was. It's changed purpose several times. But I digress. I enjoy reading little tidbits of people's lives other than just how many quilts they can crank out in a week or month. I think most of us are looking for social interaction, and we need to share our lives in order to get that. I remember prefacing one post with "If you're only looking for happy quilty topics today, this isn't the place for you." To date, I think that post had more comments than any other that I've written. So bring on the puppies. and the knitting. and the Zentangle (still don't get that?). I don't think you'll lose any readers, and it will be much easier for you.

I'm a new follower but I say throw it all together and just have one blog. It will be much easier for you to keep up with. Most of your followers/readers won't mind if you have a hodge podge of posts. You might actually post something that intrigues them and they might try a new craft. Quilting, knitting, cooking, card making...it all works together if it is what interests you. Your repeat commenters come here to see what you are up to not a specific craft.

I need to go over and check out your zentangle blog because that is a new interest of mine.

I concur with the above two comments. Most of us who are interested in folksy home focussed blogs are interested in a little bit of everthing. I am only quite new to blogging but I have post whatever I am working on at any particular time, be it papercraft, sewing, painting, gardening...the list goes on. Make it easy on your self and combine the 3 blogs. I'm sure it will make your life easier and also those who follow all 2 of your blogs too. I mean to say there are SO many great blogs out there we could all enjoy but there are only so many hours in the day. Pleased to be able to offer my opinion.

It is a difficult question to resolve as they are doing so well seperately ...BUT ...I think I would put them together then idiots like me wont miss your paperplay posts as I follow only your life one ...well up to today ...lol

I mix crafts/ days out/family/ observations/ moans etc but keep only my Family History LO blog seperate. Good luck with your decision.

I come here to see the doggies. As long as the doggies feature, I am fine with anything. Hugs to them all.

Tucker is simply gorgeous!! And, I agree with everyone.... throw them all together and have a lovely melting pot of all the wonderful things you have in your life. It'll make it easier for you.

Yep - throw them together and use labels to categorize the posts. Then people can click on the Quilts label to see just the quilting stuff. Easy peasy. You can even add a categories search widget to make searching easier. Or not. It's YOUR blog.

Marianne...you are so busy I would combine them all. It makes life easier and I bet you may just inspire cardmakers to quilt and so on and so on. Ultimately your choice but the fact you asked the question leads me to believe it is something your seriously considering. You do what works for you.
